Early Childhood Mentor Network

The Early Childhood Mentor Network (ECMN) is a professional network of experienced early childhood teachers interested in serving as mentors for the next generation of teachers.
ECMN provides Mentor Certification, professional development, networking, support, and opportunities to engage in reflective practice with colleagues throughout New Mexico.
According to the ECMN 2022 Annual Survey results:
- 95% of mentors feel connected to the field
- 90% of mentors say they will continue serving as a mentor and have new leadership and teaching skills.
Mentor Applications
All early childhood teachers with an associate's degree or higher and three years of classroom experience are encouraged to apply.
Applications are open April 1 - July 1.
Faculty Applications
Faculty members who have practicum students participating in the network must complete an application. Faculty applications are open from April 1 - August 15.

Eligibility
- Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or similar educational degree
- ECMN Mentorship Certification or willing to participate in ECMN Mentorship Certification
- Three years of classroom experience
- Reference from your current director or supervisor
