Network Leadership Roles
Become a Lead with Early Childhood Networks
The Early Childhood Networks include Lead positions within each network. These part-time leadership roles allow you to grow professionally while supporting other early childhood educators.
Available Lead Roles
- Early Childhood Lead Mentor
- Lead Infant-Toddler Teacher
- Lead Director
- Lead Home-based Provider
As a Lead, you will:
- Support and guide educators across New Mexico
- Plan and lead 8 monthly cohort meetings
- Participate in statewide leadership collaboration
- Receive a stipend for your work
- Commit 3 to 5 hours per week

Requirements
- Be eligible for, or currently listed in the New Mexico Training Registry
- Have experience providing professional development or training adults

Meet education and experience requirements:
- Associate’s degree + 5 years experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years,
- OR Master’s degree + 3 years - Submit an application, résumé, reference, New Mexico Training Registry letter, and short bio
- Participate in a short interview with staff
- Attend the Leadership Retreat (fourth weekend in July)
- Commit 3 to 5 hours per week for leadership duties
